PUBLIC ART is a shape that can be abstract or realistic. Its size can be huge or small. It could be placed on a wall, floor, roof or somewhere public. Public art is mostly painted, carved or assembled. For instance, the artist usually express through it community values and the way we interact with our environment. Transforming a painting or objects that we see on the streets is very common.
Public art is very important because it is a way of expressing thoughts. Expressing what we feel is important. If we have the right to give our opinion we should. Unfortunately not everywhere is possible to do so. People fight, destroy their communities in order to speak out. Public art is a creative and harmless way to give out messages and play with the resources and objects that we find by modifying them or changing its meaning.
Personally I enjoy arts very much. I admire a lot artists who find a way to express themselves. They adopt a new language who can be also understood by the ones who are willing to listen. This is why I found the topic of the project very attractive. The images shown below are some of my favorite pieces that I found while researching:

What I like about this image is how the artist is how he or she decided to use the grass as the pompoms of the cheerleader
Both images show some sense of humor due to the fact that the image below is representing how the girl is "sick of love" and the image above shows how there can be darkness or sadness inside of a happy person or idea
I like the contrast of the painting with the buildings. It goes from very boring and greyish tones to very bright colors.
This seems to reflect what the artist feels. It could be a sad memory of an event that took place in that place.
This is one of my favorite images because the artist chose a very creative location for his creation. Also because it is made as a continuation of the flowers and grass.
This is very creative. The artist used the leafs and placed them next to the drawings. The orange tones fit perfectly as fire.
